Development intelligence, built for biopharma reality.

BioXion is a Swiss biopharma development intelligence company connecting six intelligence modules - Program Development, Partner Programs, Quality, Analytical, Supply Chain and Regulatory - with cross-module visibility so teams can see risk earlier and act with more context.

Why BioXion exists

Biopharma does not have an information shortage. It has a connection problem.

Critical evidence already exists - across teams, partners and validated systems. BioXion connects the six functional intelligence areas that shape program and lifecycle decisions, while keeping expert judgement and source systems central.

01 · PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Three development routes

One module with route-specific planning: Novel Programs is live in v1.0; Biosimilars and Generics expand Program Development in Phase 2.

02 · PARTNER PROGRAMS

External execution

Partner governance across tech transfer, method transfer, manufacturing, testing, workstreams, dependencies and commitments.

03 · QUALITY

Quality intelligence

Visibility into deviations, CAPA-related signals, complaints and follow-up without replacing validated QMS workflows.

04 · ANALYTICAL

Analytical intelligence

Method lifecycle context, trending, anomaly signals and method-transfer risk connected to broader program decisions.

05 · SUPPLY CHAIN

Supply intelligence

Future lifecycle visibility across supply, inventory, cold-chain and operational dependencies that can affect program continuity.

06 · REGULATORY

Regulatory intelligence

Future regulatory alignment and gap visibility linking relevant FDA, EMA and ICH context to active development programs.

Cross-cutting intelligence

Program Intelligence and Lifecycle Intelligence provide complementary visibility across development and broader lifecycle context. AI supports explainable, traceable analysis for expert review rather than replacing expert judgement.

Program Development

One module. Three development routes.

Program Development supports Novel Programs, Biosimilars and Generics, with each route tailored to its respective development and regulatory pathway.

Live in v1.0

Novel Programs

For original and innovative products across BioXion’s supported therapeutic modalities, with phase-, modality- and market-specific development roadmaps from preclinical through commercial and post-approval lifecycle.

●9 supported therapeutic modalities●Preclinical → Commercial → Lifecycle●Program Intelligence & AI Insight live today
Phase 2 expansion

Biosimilars

A reference-product-led route built around the totality of evidence, including analytical and functional similarity, residual uncertainty, comparative development and market-specific biosimilar requirements.

●Reference-product strategy●Similarity & comparability evidence●Biosimilar development readiness
Phase 2 expansion

Generics

A dedicated small-molecule generic route focused on API and drug-product CMC, formulation and dissolution strategy, stability, bioequivalence or biowaiver planning and abbreviated submission pathways.

●API & drug-product CMC●Dissolution & bioequivalence●Abbreviated regulatory pathways
Three dedicated routes

Novel Programs, Biosimilars and Generics remain inside one Program Development module. Each route is tailored to the development objectives, evidence needs and regulatory pathway relevant to that type of program.

Connected intelligence

The capabilities that connect BioXion beyond individual modules.

BioXion’s six modules provide the functional intelligence foundation. Program Intelligence, Lifecycle Intelligence, BioXion Connect and the Partner Intelligence Network connect that foundation across programs, partners and decisions - without turning BioXion into a validated system of record.

01 · Intelligence views

Program Intelligence & Lifecycle Intelligence

Two complementary intelligence views help teams understand development progress and broader lifecycle context.

Program IntelligenceA program-focused view of development readiness, milestones, risks and relevant cross-functional context.
Lifecycle IntelligenceA broader cross-module view designed to surface lifecycle context and emerging cross-functional impacts.
02 · BioXion Connect

Secure sponsor-partner collaboration

BioXion Connect supports secure collaboration between sponsors and external partners while authoritative regulated records remain in existing source systems.

Secure exchangeShare program-relevant information through a controlled collaboration experience designed for external development relationships.
Source systems stay authoritativeBioXion complements existing validated systems rather than replacing the systems of record organisations already rely on.
Human-reviewed collaborationTeams remain responsible for review, follow-up and regulated decisions within their established governance processes.
03 · Partner Intelligence Network

Find, qualify and understand partners

PIN extends Partner Programs with AI-assisted partner discovery, qualification support and structured partner intelligence.

Partner discoveryIdentify potentially relevant CRO and CDMO organisations for development and external-partner needs.
Capability intelligenceStructured partner profiles support more consistent review of capabilities and fit for the program context.
Observed performance stays privatePerformance learned through a customer’s own programs remains tenant-private and is not shared across BioXion customers.
AI-assisted, human-reviewed

Company

From Basel to a global biopharma intelligence company.

BioXion was created from hands-on experience with the practical friction of biopharma development: fragmented program information, outsourced work spread across partners, and critical risks that become visible too late. The company is being built around one focused proposition: connect development intelligence without asking customers to replace the validated systems they already rely on.

The full platform architecture spans Program Development, Partner Programs, Quality, Analytical, Supply Chain and Regulatory. Within Program Development, BioXion uses three development routes: Novel Programs, Biosimilars and Generics. Program Intelligence and Lifecycle Intelligence provide dedicated views across the wider architecture, while AI adds risk detection, readiness scoring and traceable decision support across the platform.
