Why BioXion exists

Biopharma does not have an information shortage. It has a connection problem.

Critical evidence already exists - across teams, partners and validated systems. BioXion connects the six functional intelligence areas that shape program and lifecycle decisions, while keeping expert judgement and source systems central.

01 · PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Three development routes

One module with route-specific planning: Novel Programs is live in v1.0; Biosimilars and Generics expand Program Development in Phase 2.

02 · PARTNER PROGRAMS

External execution

Partner governance across tech transfer, method transfer, manufacturing, testing, workstreams, dependencies and commitments.

03 · QUALITY

Quality intelligence

Visibility into deviations, CAPA-related signals, complaints and follow-up without replacing validated QMS workflows.

04 · ANALYTICAL

Analytical intelligence

Method lifecycle context, trending, anomaly signals and method-transfer risk connected to broader program decisions.

05 · SUPPLY CHAIN

Supply intelligence

Future lifecycle visibility across supply, inventory, cold-chain and operational dependencies that can affect program continuity.

06 · REGULATORY

Regulatory intelligence

Future regulatory alignment and gap visibility linking relevant FDA, EMA and ICH context to active development programs.

Cross-cutting intelligence

Program Intelligence provides the Program Development-linked view; Lifecycle Intelligence connects signals across modules. AI supports risk detection, readiness scoring and explainable, traceable analysis rather than replacing expert judgement.

Program Development architecture

One module. Three development routes.

Program Development uses a shared intelligence backbone for program structure, readiness, lifecycle context and AI-supported decision making. The route inside that module changes to match the evidence model and regulatory pathway of the product being developed.

Biosimilars

A reference-product-led route built around the totality of evidence, including analytical and functional similarity, residual uncertainty, comparative development and market-specific biosimilar requirements.

Generics

A dedicated small-molecule generic route focused on API and drug-product CMC, formulation and dissolution strategy, stability, bioequivalence or biowaiver planning and abbreviated submission pathways.

Shared foundation

Novel Programs, Biosimilars and Generics remain inside one Program Development module. They share the same enterprise architecture, Program Intelligence, lifecycle context and cross-module connections while applying route-specific milestones, evidence expectations and regulatory logic.

Connected intelligence

The capabilities that connect BioXion beyond individual modules.

BioXion’s six modules provide the functional intelligence foundation. Program Intelligence, Lifecycle Intelligence, BioXion Connect and the Partner Intelligence Network connect that foundation across programs, partners and decisions - without turning BioXion into a validated system of record.

01 · Intelligence views

Program Intelligence & Lifecycle Intelligence

Two complementary dashboards give teams the right level of context depending on how BioXion is configured.

Program IntelligenceThe Program Development-linked view, bringing readiness, gaps, dependencies and cross-module signals into the active development program context. When Program Development is included, this is the primary dashboard.
Lifecycle IntelligenceA cross-module lifecycle view spanning the wider BioXion architecture. For customers using BioXion without Program Development, Lifecycle Intelligence becomes the primary dashboard; it can also be opened alongside Program Intelligence.
02 · BioXion Connect

Structured sponsor-CDMO collaboration

BioXion Connect is designed to let sponsors and CDMOs share program-relevant visibility while authoritative records remain in validated source systems.

Publish, not exposeRelevant events and status can be published from CDMO systems without giving the sponsor direct access to the underlying QMS.
Non-GxP by designSponsors can acknowledge, request information, raise concerns, escalate and assign follow-up - but BioXion does not become the place where CDMO deviations or CAPAs are approved.
Program collaborationConnect is centered on active partner programs and operational collaboration; Regulatory Intelligence is not part of the Connect scope.
03 · Partner Intelligence Network

Find, qualify and learn from partners

PIN extends Partner Programs from oversight into partner discovery and structured qualification.

Preliminary fitAI-assisted discovery can assemble public partner information, suggest qualification questions and support an initial fit assessment.
Questionnaire intelligenceUsers can review and approve outreach, then structure responses into the partner knowledge base rather than managing qualification through disconnected email threads.
Observed performance stays privatePerformance learned through a customer’s own programs remains tenant-private and is not shared across BioXion customers.

Company

From Basel to a global biopharma intelligence company.

BioXion was created from hands-on experience with the practical friction of biopharma development: fragmented program information, outsourced work spread across partners, and critical risks that become visible too late. The company is being built around one focused proposition: connect development intelligence without asking customers to replace the validated systems they already rely on.

The full platform architecture spans Program Development, Partner Programs, Quality, Analytical, Supply Chain and Regulatory. Within Program Development, BioXion uses three development routes: Novel Programs, Biosimilars and Generics. Program Intelligence and Lifecycle Intelligence provide dedicated views across the wider architecture, while AI adds risk detection, readiness scoring and traceable decision support across the platform.
